I found out about The Cupcake Project through Frankie and knew I just had to be part of it! The Cupcake Project is a fun little art project started by Felicity who is a graphic designer, crafty person and of course cupcake lover! She started it because she believed that everyone has creativity within them and who doesn't love cupcakes? You can submit a picture of a doodle, drawing, plush...it's just up to your imagination.
Here's my little felt cupcake pouches I submitted for the project -

I recently discovered the world of lomography and after buying a few lomo cameras to get started I've gotta say I'm totally hooked! I love snapshot photography and the thrill of not knowing how your photos will turn out. It could super saturated, seeping with colour or just blurry. The effects are endless and hard to describe, actually half the time I'm not sure if my camera is even working. But that just adds to the fun and the results are definitely worth it. It brings back memories of my first 35mm camera. The chunky plastic casing..winding the film.. Remember those days guys? ;)
Anyway I'd thought I'd share some of my fave lomo cameras with you :)
The Diana, my very first lomo camera! Love the plastic lens and there is even a small aperture for pinhole images. You can also take panaromic shots and the images made by this baby are just dreamy.
The Oktomat takes 8 continuous frames and instantly turns your shot into a memorable story. Perfect for catching those action shots and unexpected surprises.
The Holga is famous for its misty, soft vignetted images and its definitely one uber cool camera and the special CMYK version is even better! A colour wheel tints your images with either blue, red, yellow or clear gels and did I mention its one damn good looking camera?
This mini bundle of fun is one of the instant cameras available form the lomography range. The Fuji Instax Mini 25 is cute as a button and only the size of a wallet and has a sweet self shoot mirror, which is just fab for those self portrait moments [Don't try to deny it, I know you all do it ;) ]
Ok time to get snapping!

FreeRice is a wonderful initiative, in which by playing a simple vocabulary game you could be helping to feed people in some of the poorest nations. For every word you get right 20 grains of rice will be donated to the United Nations World Food Program by the site's sponsors. The program aims to provide English vocabulary to everyone for free and to help end world hunger by donating rice to hungry people for free. Since the site began over 38 billion grains of rice have been donated to the program! Skip over to the site to have a go now!
Oh and the site does warn that by playing the game it may make you smarter...
That's great news! Good luck with the shop :) read more
